Located in the coveted Tin Cup Creek area west of Darby, MT, Moose Meadow Vacation Rental Home offers travelers the ultimate base for every Montana adventure. Yellowstone TV Series fans will recognize Darby, MT as the home of Dutton Ranch, so keep your eyes out for glimpses of filming activity while you are here.  Fly fishing on the Bitterroot River and West Fork of the Bitterroot are within 10 miles of the house.

Featuring 3 large bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, Moose Meadow welcomes you with a large open kitchen/dining/great room for gathering in, complemented with a warm gas-log fireplace. Upstairs is the primary bedroom-loft with a king size bed and a large ensuite tile bathroom complete with a walk in shower, separate Jacuzzi soaking tub, double vanity sinks and a bidet seat. Tucked away on the main floor are two spacious bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with two twin size beds.  A full bathroom with a tub/shower combo and a laundry room with full size washer/dryer separate the two main floor bedrooms.  We've got you covered with reliable WiFi and a desk space for your laptop, as well as a TV for streaming.  A split system heat and AC keep Moose Meadow pleasant inside in all seasons.

Outside you are surrounded by nature in a mix of ponderosa forest and meadows that compose the property's 4.25 acre parcel.  Wildlife abounds! It is common to see deer, elk, turkey, even moose, grazing right in the yard and stealing a bite from the fruit trees in the garden.  A propane barbecue grill and outdoor patio set make the back deck a perfect afternoon hang-out spot. The neighboring houses on the road are spaced far apart on large acreage to provide all the privacy you need for a relaxing stay.

The convenience of Darby's downtown shops, restaurants, groceries, brewery, bars, library, gas station, and local festivities keep you stocked up and entertained without a long drive. For outdoor enthusiasts, Lost Trail Ski Area is just a 35 minute drive south with a hot springs pool along the way.  Closer to home, there’s miles of fishable river including the main Bitterroot River, and both the East and West Forks of the Bitterroot River flowing within 10 miles of Moose Meadow. Darby Bridge Fishing Access Site on the Bitterroot River is only a 7 minute drive away. Numerous hiking trails, a handful of scenic lakes, and several rushing streams can be explored within a 30 mile radius of Moose Meadow.  A short 20 miles north is Hamilton, MT, the Ravalli County Seat, with all of the services of a city and wonderful summer Farmer's Markets.
